The paid internship program in the US allows foreign citizens to be eligible to work in the US for a short period of time with a J-1 visa. Participants in this program can work at a selected company, restaurant, hotel, etc. in many areas across the United States.

Conditions for participating in the J-1 visa paid internship program

  • Age: 21 – 30
  • Degree: Students who are or have graduated from college or university in Vietnam
  • Work experience requirements for candidates applying to fields other than their majors at university or college
  • Foreign language requirements: Good English communication, and having an International English certificate is an advantage.

 

Documents required for the paid internship program in the US

  • Passport study abroad program. Or you have graduated and want to experience the internship process. The internship salary you receive will depend on the company/business and your agreement.
  • There are several types of student visas and work visas that allow international students to intern. Different conditions may apply in relation to the period of internship. Include the number of hours worked per day/week, and whether you can receive an intern salary or not.
